I forgot this car exhisted. It is the first time Suzuki tried to build a larger car and did not do well. It is like a 1960's Kizashi. It looks great too . It would be a great design for a retro electric car.
Also, I am at my favorite punk bar for the first time since last summer, and I love it.

The styling is a bit BMW, a bit Volvo, a bit Fiat ... the nose is pure Japanese. Handsome!

Very rare car. It wasn’t that they didn’t sell, it was that Suzuki didn’t invest in expanding production to the point the car would have been profitable. It was also very old tech, a DKW copy appearing just as DKW were in crisis to revamp their line and ditch 2- stroke power.

I completely agree. They never moved past hand building them, and it would have been nice with a 4-stroke 4 cylinder.

Weirder still is Mitsubishi’s 2-stroke Colt, which used a DKW inspired 3-cylinder, but kept RWD instead. Development of front wheel drive in Japan is pretty fascinating.
